hey, my boyfriend has had a horrible summer and a horrible week, his dog died, he spent hundreds on his car and just trust me, a lot more. i made him a picture frame for his dog, but i'd really like do make/do something nice for him since he's been pretty down. i want it to be less "sorry your summer sucked" and more "yay fun!".

none of these are required but if they help with any idea formation here are some things he's into:
traveling & nature
marvel comics
the locust
class starts for us tomorrow

Thank you guys!

why not make him some stuff for school, and include a small tag that says something like (with love from ...)

some comic book book covers would be cute

or maybe even something zombie.. a keychain stuffie, drawing for a folder,

or maybe just some little notes hidden where he will find them with sweet messages in them.

not that this is any help but know what its like. my bf has had a really bad summer,so much has gone wrong and keeps getting worse. been told i am the best thing in his life right now. hes a fan of marvel comics(and some others) too so im prob gonna get him one(if i can figure out which ones he has or not) .one thing i did do for him a little while ago was some vinyl paintings, one was a yin yang style with batman and spiderman logo and the other was of the punisher,he really liked them as he had been hinting at a spiderman one for ages. something simple and sentimental is cool. i was being cheesy and sappy at the time watching spiderman 2  with mine and  came up with something along the lines of "you have a spiderweb wrapped round my heart"

hopefully whatever you do he will love

You could get him some hot chocolate,
personalise him a mug
make him a beanie and/or scarf
make him some slippers
make him one of those heat pack warmer things

wrap it all up in a big box with silver/blue paper and entitle it
summer is over so...
