I'm not sure what I was thinking in reconstructing this because I don't have an overwhelming number of occassions to wear this to but it was an experiment.

This dress was much longer, had a basic back (up to the nape of the neck) and I basically shortened it and created a t-back halter.

Since I was "playing dress-up" and starting to feel more brave I thought, "Sure, why not break out the elbow length opera gloves??!!" Then I thought, "Yes, it does sound like a good idea to shoot the photos in my apartment hallway late at night!"

Well, after all of the trouble I guess I better post them.  Here goes... (keep in mind I was just a smidge tipsy).   Wink

All your dresses look lovely!  I especially like the 50s housewife cocktail-y ones.  Anyway, a girl is never to old to play dress up, it's just more fun with a good backdrop and a drinkypoo!

Black elbow-length opera gloves are ALWAYS THE ANSWER.
You look fantastic and stunning and I love/covet your dresses.  Also your shoes.   Grin

So much fun! I love your hallway shoot.
If you're not likely to wear it very often, all the more reason to work it when the chance comes- or when the camera beckons.
Nice job
