thanks. i have made a third one the other night (smaller size) and did and different block pattern as well as a new quilting pattern..  this one i made specifically with me in mind..

That's yet another pretty bag!  How did you quilt it differently?  From the pic, it looks like vertical "curvy" lines through the bag.

What are those?  Are they done from free-motion quilting, or from a certain stitch on your machine?

free motion quilting. the block ones were a lot more complicated. i had to draw a pattern on the batting which took forever to get the pencil to come off onto the batting..  i started off with the last one drawing a pattern and then figured the heck with it. and i like it better without some pattern to it. just randomness..
