I haven't posted an FO in a LONG time.  I finished up the Baby Haiku from Knitty for a quick bday gift for my niece tho!  It was REALLY quick as I used 2 strands of CSS held together. Size 10 US needles.  I would have like to have used some nicer yarn but she's being raised by my father and really...... they're lucky laundry gets done let alone handwashing something!   Roll Eyes Cheesy

I love it!!! And I love the color.. and I love that you knitted it since I swear I have never seen this on Knitty!! How can that possibly be? I missed a pattern on Knitty? It must be that yours totally caught my eye and is really cute!!
And great idea to use this yarn - better to have a sweater baby can wear than one that will be worn once and then cast aside due to not being able to be laundered.. or even worse - ruined!

Off to see if I have yarn to cast on! Thanks for posting!

You can never change the past. But by the gace of God, you can win the future. So, remember those things which will help you forward, but forget about the things which will only hold you back.

That is so adorable! I really like your choice of colour, very pretty.
This is the first Haiku that I've seen someone make, rather than at Knitty.
Did you see the other one the same, for women? I think it's great that they did the exact same pattern for women, in case somebody wants to make matching mother/daughter sweaters.
The womens' version is called "Sonnet", if anybody's interested.  Grin
