I really do like the jewellery you've made  Cheesy

But... what exactly *is* resin, and how do you use it?  Huh I've been wondering for a bit, but I never really had a time to ask XD XD

and it's great that esty's going well for you ^^ But I'd also like to point out that if you're asking for business advice, there's another forum for that, as you're not technically supposed to put anything about actually selling your items in your regular picture-posts.

Where would I find out about resin... where to find it, how to use it? There are things I want to make! Your stuff is really cute.

Thank you!
There's a whole thread about resin-
here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10667.0

and this site is also incredibly helpful-
http://www.glassattic.com/polymer/other_materials.htm

I found my resin at our local Michael's. There are two types you can buy there. The 2-part "Castin Craft" epoxy resin is a little more user- friendly I've found as opposed to the polyester resin.

Hope this helps =)

Thanks so much!
Check my last post on page 3, there a couple very helpful sites there.

Oh- I had no idea about the selling thing (shoulda read the forum rules!) thanks for pointing that out.

Let me know how it turns out if you decide to try it.

Thanks so much for the resin info. Did you make your own molds, or did you purchase them somewhere? The little heart is adorable.

Glad I could help =)
I purchased that particular mold at Dickblick.com but saw it at Michaels and it was slightly less expensive there.

I like the heart too- maybe I'll make more, that one just sold last night on etsy. =)

Thanks for the kind words.

Resin stuff is soooo cool! I won't even touch the stuff, much as I'd love to (for one thing, during the sub-zero months I've got no place to work, and it's too cold for 3/4 of the year!).

Open a shop - best of luck!
