Why pay top dollar for themed underwear?

When you can create them yourself! My daughter is much like any 3 year old, fan of Dora the Explorer and tends to have a pavlov response to all things princess, but I feel underwear in that department is
a) expensive
b) crappy quality
c) everybody has them (Seriously, I take care of 3 girls and I actually put initials in their stuff)

So I figured, why not get pictures of her favorite books and print iron ons, and put them on quality underwear (which is cheaper cause you're not paying for trademark).

Make optimum use of your sheet

I got 13 6.5X6.5 cm circles on 1 A4.

Iron your butt off

Yes the top left one is #%$# up. I didn't think and just ironed over the cloth direct on the patch.
And yes that's her toy iron and she plays pretend iron-on, it keeps her away from my hot hot iron.

Yeah the color of the underwear shines through but I don't mind. (I was tempted to put the mole pic on the back of the knicker  )

Awesome! I bet she feels extra special that her mama made them especially for her!  I did a similar project for my manfriend, ironing rocketships onto boxer shorts to try to give him his very own lucky rocketship underpants like Calvin's from Calvin & Hobbes.  I'm currently lazily looking for rocketship fabric since I found a good boxers pattern.

At first I was looking through google image search but then it hit me that since I own these books I might as well take pictures of them with my cam. (Doooh sometimes..)
Some editing in photoshop, resize, border for clarity with a contrasting / complimenting color picked from the image itself.
