I'm interested in trying embroidery, I'm just trying to figure out if I'll have time to do this swap justice.

I could mentor in crochet (I don't suppose there would be anyone buying a kiln, a wheel or a stained glass studio just to try a new craft?)  Smiley

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley

i'm considering it but only if you can find someone else interested in embroidery too. keep me updated!

That's one of mine I want to try XD  I just sent on 2 of my swaps, so until I get feedback, I'm technically full up right this second

Let's see, I have a pasta maker and polymer clay, or drop spindle and a small amount of roving that I've spent a combined total of 15 minutes with. Sock knitting might be cool, too (I can knit, but I'm still leary of trying anything but I cord with my DPN's).

As far as mentoring goes, I could do cross stitch, sewing, or crochet. I can embroider passably, but my stitches are definitely not as even as they should be.

Still thinking it over, though.  I just played with the financial software this afternoon, and I may not be swapping much for a bit (dentist appointments and back to school clothes ate a hole in my spare change).  Sad

I'm very interested, I haven't done a swap in a while. I am interested in learning embroidery and/or knitting, and could mentor in sewing. I have to decide if I'll have the time to do this.. I think I might...

This sounds like a fun swap! I'd be interested in making beaded jewelry and in soapmaking.
Btw, what happens to people who are interested in crafts no one else likes to try?

Good question! I've been thinking about that, and I guess they'll get paired up with someone who is also trying something a little obscure? I'm open to suggestions.

Will being a mentor only take up a swap slot/get feedback?
I'm cool either way.

Mentoring will not be taking a swap spot, mentors do not have to send anything out. If a mentor flakes we'll find a new one/muddle through.
