I got the most fantastic package today from moilulu - I just can't brag enough on her work!

First off she made me this beautiful cabled purse - it's gorgeous! 



The picture doesn't do the bag justice - it's a pretty rust color with yellow and blue fleck and beautiful buttons.  And inside was another items that I had put on my list:



A "We Call Them Pirates" hat!  It's fantastic!  I can't wait for it to get cold here so I can wear it - although my daughter came home and saw it and has been wearing it around the house.  I think I'll be sharing this one!

I turned the bag inside out so you can see them easier.  The small buttoned pocket is on a larger pocket.  You can see the two narrow pockets for needles to the right of the larger pocket.

I sent to jjgirl, and as she said, she doesn't have camera on her right now.   I made her a brown courderoy bag with a matching hook book. This was my first time making this type of tote.  I'd made regular ones before, but never the tapered, pleated ones with the sash around the top.  It was interesting for sure!   I'm a bit of a corderoy lovin' girl, so I had to do it in cord.

I was so happy that she liked it. This is my first craftster swap, so I was really nervous!

Cinderblock received from me a couple of days ago, and said I could post pictures.

She said in her questionnaire 'anything with cassettes', so I stencilled a shirt for her and hand-stitched a little purse with a tape on it. I also put some german bottlecaps and a few contact paper transfer stickers in, because I stalked her posts and knew she liked bottlecaps and had just started on ATCs.

The "small" stuff - the tape sticker on the purse is stitched on the contrasting fabric, which is in turn stitched on the corduroy


The little purse - I even lined the thing and put a zipper in - things I've never done before in my life. It took me hours to figure out


I'm very glad cinderblock liked what I sent her, I was rather nervous when I sent, as this is my first swap
