Any chance i could get you to take a picture of the label? We can tell you a little more about your yarn then.

Yeah. The label just about looks like Redheart's black with white one, but just to be sure....

been trying to take the tag but my camera works on and off..... and i guess its having one of its off moments.... anyways!

i'd crochet it into a cute little clutch purse, with a huge red button and a strap for the wrist.

clutch sounds wonderful! but i would have to put lining to stiffen and structure it... i have a red one (posted somewhere on here) and i can't put anything in it...

for some reason I've been thinking a lot of black and white striped pirate-like stocking caps...

not necessarily saying YOU should knit one, but the yarn's the right weight!  and it shouldn't be too hot...

yeah you'd definitely have to sew some fabric lining into it to make it work. i have this gorgeous purse i crocheted that i have only use donce because i am too lazy to line it ! it sags horribly.

Thing with black is that it doesn't show stitch definition very well. So I would say don't try to do cables or lace. Garter or stockinette should be fine, though.
