I just HAD to hit this rocks.

I remember when you first posted the yarn for this (I THINK that was you....), but I am just stunned.  This turned out AMAZING.  Its long and cozy looking without being too bulky, and the colors are just so much fun!  How much does that puppy weigh?

I don't have a scale anymore, but I would say this weighs about 5 pounds or so.  I will have to weigh it officially though.

That probably was me with the yarn as I did post it a while ago- I am thinking probably around February or so maybe?

I made it slightly bigger to allow for any shrinkage even though this is superwash.

wow, that is AWESOME.

That must have taken alot of koolaid, imagine all the cheap plastic pitchers you could have gotten if you just saved all the envelopes.

May ask how much it weighs?

*chuckle*  I have plastic bags full of empties all over the place- but a lot of what i used was not Kool Aid brand so I don't have as many envelopes as I could have.........(she says in an effort to rationalize it all- Grin)

ROTFL  you are so funny!

I am so glad you enjoy my coat.  It is wonderful to find others who appreciate this as much as i have enjoyed designing and making it.

The only problem is, I am not sure how to store it.  Hanging it up will make it stretch, and it is too big for a drawer.

The things you don't think of when you start a project....... Roll Eyes

I used several types of kool aid and similar drinks both premade and powder.  I also used various combos of fuchsia and blues in jacquard acid dyes.

Wow. Not only did you start such a big project, you designed it yourself, spun and dyed the wool and finished it. I can't wait to see what other things you can do! That is unreal!

It is absolutely gorgeous.

Just 1 question, just out of curiosity - can it be washed?
