Cheesy thanks all!! i actually do have a pearl necklace and earrings that i'll be wearing, as well as curling my hair out (which should be a fun adventure :3)

one of my friends thought i should smear fake blood on myself ... but that usually stains... and since i'll be wearing it around campus all day ( i have 5 classes on halloween D:) it might not be a good idea...

oohh, fake blood is treading close to  the line between funny and poor taste....  I can't wait to see the final product! Such a original costume

I'm also aaaalmost done my costume (Cruella)!

The good news is that my capelet looks faaabulous, and that I found a pair of red heels for $10 today on my lunch hour!

The bad news is that I've been teaching my roommate to sew and she accidentally broke my last needle last night! My dress is currently a misshapen tube of black fabric without straps or a proper neckline. *sigh*

Oh my gosh! Those wings are amazing. Very leaf-like.

And I have actually made some progress on my costume. (Ha... you know... because my party IS tomorrow night after all).

My red riding hood! (Excuse my unflattering stance... )

I've also finished the sewing part of the matching circle skirt, although since I'm planning to add a stencilled skull [I'm going more as Little DEAD than Little Red... ], I'll wait to post pics.

STILL TO DO: high importance: make a lid for my basket (with thin cardboard, black ribbons, and skull fabric!
- would be nice: skull on skirt, little glass skulls & black beads on fishing line bracelet (day-of, because I have to tie it on!)

Hooray i finally finished my gangster costume last night! Talking about last minute procrastination, the party is on Sunday. I love that it only cost me $4 to make too. I'll post pictures when I'm all decked up though. Tongue

I finished my Jem costume!!  I had to finish it on kind of a short notice.. originally we were going to go to my friends birthday/halloween costume party this weekend, but they ended up bumping up the date, and they had it last weekend.  Because of this, I didn't have time to make her little red hip sash thing, but I think it turned out alright anyway.  Noone knew who I was Sad

My clownlike makeup:

Group shot of the gals:

Here's a better shot of my dress:

I ended up making my dress, my bangle bracelet, earrings, I spraypainted the shoes and my microphone pink.  The mic also has rhinestones and glitter on it Smiley

My boyfriend couldn't decide on what to be until the night before..... he was a flashlight.. a fully functional flashlight, it was awesome. Smiley  He had a button on his chest (one of those push buttons spraypainted black) and a wierd kinda hat thing that he rewired the lightbulb into to make the light part.  He won best costume. Cheesy
