So I had this size Medium shirt from church camp...and with a Simplicity pattern I made it kinda cool.  I got a lot of compliments at my youth group and someone asked me to do the same for them.  I'm working on another one as we speak.  This is my first post so PLEASE be honest!  I really want critques.
ACTION SHOT!
I took the original size medium shirt, cut it along the seams and the side, and then I cut the pattern out of it.  I sewed it back together without enough fabric for the collar..oops!  But since its a size to small, I left it all in-hemmed so that it wouldnt be any shorter than it is.  I really am pleased...so pleased that I'm making another one(slightly different, though) out of the same pattern.  Oh, the pattern is Simplicity 5098. Or is it 5089?  Oh well, I'll check later.  But I really reccomend that pattern anyway. I have another shirt I made out of it that I'll be posting soon too...Thanks for looking!

Could you give a little more detail as to what exactly that you did to the t-shirt?  It is sort of difficult to see in your photos--thanks!

Pretty much used the old shirt as fabric for an awesome pattern...  I completely deconstructed it first.

So you seperated the 2 sides of the t-shirt, and then used the pieces for another pattern? I just want to make sure I got it right. Wink
I really like the way the unhemmed edges look. I think it's cool when they roll up a little bit. The stiching (?) on the front is really unique too, it looks good!
