My spinning group had a dyeing day on Monday and here are my mini skeins:



From memory, we used logwood, oregano, annatto, huckleberries, mugure, brazilwood, fustic, griselinia, goldenrod and walnut.

I wasn't involved in the prep of the dye baths, so I can only guess that they added alum as the fixing agent to most of them.

Those colors are beautiful!  I want to try dyeing but it seems so daunting Undecided.

I love natural dying and Dharma trading co has some great prices on natural dyes so I just picked up a bunch.
