Does anyone know of a website where I can find lonnnnngggg strings of craft-quality pearls?  Specifically, I'd like to find about 6 mm of them in ivory.  I need yards and yards and yards of them for my centerpieces.  I want to use them as strings, not loose.  Any ideas would be appreciated!  Thanks in advance! You may try Michaels or other craft stores...I got some at Michaels a few years ago.

Check Ebay!  We got all of our crystals and then the garnets for my jewelry there.  Ebay is the place to be. Grin

real ones? call me crazy, but wouldn't some decent fake ones look as nice and cost a whole lot less?

Nooooo, definitely not real ones. Smiley  That's what I meant when I said "craft-quality," sorry, I should have just said "fake." Smiley  Maybe if I were marrying Donald Trump...

I did end up using eBay.  Couldn't find 6 mm, but I settled for 4 mm.  I got 72 yards for a great price.  Thanks for the help. Smiley

Actually, I've found pearls and some gems on ebay live auctions.  I bought some peridot stones and fw pearls pretty inexpensively ($5-10 for a strand of about 12 inches).   Of course, those auctions are hit or miss, but you can search from the homepage (ebayliveauctions.com) for pearls, etc and see what comes up.
