This started as a men's XXXL  button down from the thrift. It all turned out really well because now I can wear really low-rise jeans and not have to worry about it because the shirt is so long haha  Wink. Anyway, enjoy

very cute I love the ripply sleeves; it looks like something from american eagle outfitters.  time to steal one of my brother's plaid shirts...

So cute!  I love the ruffled sleeves.  The melded manly/girly style is really clever.

This is so adorable.  The ruffles are a nice touch.
Also, not too hipster at all.  Wink

really easy. first, i cut off the sleeves and decided to deal with them later. then, i fitted the 'vest' to my body, but left the shirt the same length. i needed darts because there was just SO much fabric. then, i cut the sleeves short into  crescents (you can see the fabric is longest on TOP of my shoulder.) then i did big, constant pleats and just sewed the sleeves onto the little vest i had made earlier. it's so comfy you don't even know
