here it is! my first ever handmade, hand bound journal. i pieced and quilted the cover and used a variety of embroidery stitches on my machine to quilt the seams. i added some pretty purple-y beads to the pretty purple-y fabric. i used marbled and solid color paper. i made it for photojenn in the cheer-up swap. she said she likes it...yay! Grin

anyway, i had mentioned that i was making a journal in my journal cover post and someone asked me to post this when i was done with it. so, without further ado...

p.s. - photojenn's photos of this are way better than mine! she posted it in the cheer-up swap gallery.
