If it makes it any better for adopters, I will most likely craft something pretty cool as a thank you! I'm excited for this!

I also think that making more than a card could be optional. nothing huge, but a little "thank you" craft and a note would be nice.

I'm in.  probably the reason you aren't getting more adopters is because of the lack of reciprocation.  It's ok though, I can use the positive Karma!!

Actually, I know how nice it is to get packages without obligation- my Grandpa was great to me in college & I have sent many a surprise care package to kids I know recently.

I PM'ed  the organizer with questions about budgets- that is the most likely thing keeping people from adopting...

I would like to be an adopter but I am waiting for my first swap to be recieved so I can sign up for another.  It's been sent and should be there by the end of the week.

Penlowe - you're right, there should probably be a max dollar amount on this, so things stay fair.

Personally, as an adoptee, I don't care at all if the package costs $2, or is made from scraps and crap you don't want.. hahaha.. I just know how much I love getting mail in those first few weeks when I'm adjusting and homesick. And crafty mail would be so much sweeter Smiley

So thanks to everyone willing to adopt, trust me, my adopter will be getting thanked via present Smiley

My swap limit is full at the moment, but if one comes open in time I'll gladly be an adopter Smiley
