You know how they say "measure twice, cut once"? I would like to amend that one of those times should be not at two in the morning. I made a great tote bag, but it came out way huger than I intended, and I didn't realize it until I was halfway through. In hindsight, I could have cut off part of the top and made it a wide and not-as-deep bag, but there were already pocketses attached.

It's kind of sad that it's a bit too huge to use, because I love bags with lots of pockets, and these all turned out pretty well. I still have a lot of the polkadotted fabric, though, so I may just make another one in a more user-friendly size. This one was practice, I guess - and may make a great beach bag for next summer.

I love it! If you can't carry it on a daily basis, maybe you can use it as an over night bag. Smiley

I love the printed fabric, and I agree you can't have too many big bags.  Maybe use it as a shopping bag?

That's actually not a bad idea. Maybe I'll sew on some small handles, so it can be used both as an over-shoulder and hand-carried bag.
