Wow, that is fantastic.  Thank you for sharing...I've got an old belgian lace pillowcase that we'll never use because it's white, but it's too good to throw out.  And now I know what I'm going to do with it.

So pretty!  I tried the same thing last week and sadly, the pillocase ripped right up the side as I was putting in the last bit of elastic.

where were you adding elastic? This is why I shirred mine instead of using a cased opening for elastic. If the fabric is at all starting to fray I steer away from such pillowcases.
