Update time!

1. Secret Garden tam, pattern is on craftster- I've always loved that movie and I neeed the hat. I ordered yarn for it, knitpicks andean silk in hollyberry. Cheesy
-Gave up and made a calorimetry instead.

2. Knitty's Knucks- 2 pairs, one for my SIL, one for me. SIL's is in Elizabeth Lavold Silky Wool, in tweedy brown, and mine is in Knitpicks Swish DK in hollyberry (they'll match the hat, of course)
-Both pairs finished! My SIL loves hers, too Cheesy

3. Buccaneer's Booty socks for one of my best friends, pattern from craftster. Ordered same yarn the patternmaker used. -not started.

4. Felted laptop case for one of my other best friends. Wool of the Andes in blue bonnet. -not started.

5. Socks for my fiance- yarn is knitpicks essential in terrain twist. -not started.

6. Namaste from Knitty- for my sister. -about 50% done.

7. Some kind of neckwarmer/scarf for me. -Finished, though it's a bit itchy. Tongue

8. Mittens- a commission for my friend Jody. -Yarn is currently being shipped my way.

Oh my goodness, I have so many things I want to knit. I have a 6 day stretch off from work (yay!) so guess what I'll be doing?  Wink

Anyway... so off to the list.
The immediate things I'm making (since the weather is getting cold and I'm in desperate need of a matching winter set):

earwarmer It's just a k2, p2 rib at whatever length that goes comfortably around the head. I'm about 1/3 done. I have long hair and I hate wearing hats that squish it down when I'm just bombing around town.

ribbed scarf in same color as earwarmer

ribbed wristwarmers in same color as the two above. I'm still looking for a pattern that I'd be satisfied with, but if not, I'll just whip something up without one.

cabled bag from the recent Simple Knits magazine. It'll be my first attempt at cables, but I adore the look of them and have always wanted to try. A girl can't have too many bags, anyway, right?  Grin

There's more on my list, but I need to focus on these things first. I'd like to knit for Xmas gifts, but I'm not too speedy so I'm crafting other things.
