My husband used to drink a lot of soda, but he traded that addiction for cans of lemon-lime sparkling water.

I'm not quite done figuring this out, they came out a bit looser then I wanted for something with a button clasp, so I'm thinking maybe soft bangle bracelets instead with no clasp, just 8 rows of 3 poptabs instead. The green one was done with a size F hook and size 3 cotton, and the black one was done with a size D hook and size 3 cotton, also the green on , I used one stitch at the top and bottom of the tabs, and the black one I used two. I'm a lot happier with the way the black one looks, but it's just a bit tricker.
Thanks for looking!

those are really cute!! great idea, and a lot quicker (less tabs involved) to do than most of the pop tab projects i've seen/loved...it might be cute as a choker too? or even a belt? ooh!

*also runs off to rummage the trash for pop tabs*
i know i've got at least two in there right now Wink

I'm gonna have to start saving those darn things! I've seen so many craft projects I love that use so many of them, but these, I may actually be able to save enough tops to make.  Cheesy

Thanks! Yeah, a lot of the patterns do take a ton of tabs, this one took 21 I think? Which is do-able. Saving tabs now to do one in pink for my daughter. She's a tween, and she really likes them.

If I can save enough, I want to make a bag with black thread and a ton of poptabs to look sort of like platemail for my son to keep his dice in.

Ohhh love it! I have a collection started, only 280 tabs so far but I keep hitting my dh's alcoholic (ok only kidding they can hold their beer though) family up for more all the time. I could make a few of these with my collection but I'm saving up for a purse

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.
