It looks a bit rogh and ready, but i left it too long at trace.
I give you:

Coconut-Ice-Cherry Soap. The bottom(white) is coconut, and the top (pink) is cherry. Both layers are fragranced with a hint of Bakewell to bring the scents together. It is a very sweet smell, but i think it goes well with the coconut ice confectionery look.

And

Orange and Lemongrass Egg Shampoo Bars
They smell nice, and look quite neat too. I'm pleased with them.

Sorry about the lighting - it was late last night when i took the pics.

The shampoo bars came from the same recipe book - they're made the same way as soap is, but with different ingredients (if that makes sense!!). You can also superfat the shampoo bars to reduce the need for conditioner, but i didn't do that, i wanted to follow the recipe properly first!!

Melinda Coss's Handmade Soap.

It was recommended to me, and it really is an excellent book - well worth getting a couple of copies.

No Problem, it really is the best book i've found so far - its just about the only one that's not overly scared of the lye!
