Ok, these are pretty ruff since I am new at sewing, so no closeups. LOL  I made 3 different bags.  I did a search on line for baby slings and found all sorts of patterns.  My favorite was http://www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/Baby/no_sew.html
Her site offers a no sew way to make the sling.  I did sew my fabric into a long rectangle though, so that the suede would be on both sides.

2nd bag, leopard print.  the rings are sewed on.  Used this link
http://www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/Baby/index.html

and lastly my cool hippie bag.  I just made this design up after seeing a similar bag for $50.00 in a dog magazine.
thanks
Jo-Ann

Thanks, I adopted her from the Chihuahua rescue group.  She is wonderful and now very spoiled!  The first year I had her she would crawl all around the house (very scared).  Now she has so much confidence that she is overbearing to strangers and tries to bite them!  So now I put her in a bag when someone comes to visit and she calms right down.

I love the second one - it looks like the perfect height/strap length. Mine has a hard-shell case that he likes to hide in when he feels a bit nervous - obviously bags are safe places for little dogs!

great job on the doggy slings.  I bought some online from a pet store and they seem so simple to make and I've already picked out some cool fabric from the fabric store so I can make some myself as well.  They are the best way to carry a little teacup sized dog!

These are really great. We have a rescue Chihuahua too, he came from a puppy mill, scared when we first got him, but a lot better now.

We use a baby sling when we go on walks, but this is really nice since it's more personal and a lot nicer looking =) Great job!

Very Cute. I tried to put my 2 month old mini schnauzer who is roughly 7lbs in a ring sling like the 1st picture you posted and he didn't like it at all.
