Of course i had to flip thru the calendar as soon as i got it, and i came across the Cabled Wool Purse pattern, i think it would be perfect for a Birthday present for my friend.  If anyone else can't wait another day yet alone almost a year to start this project please join me!  If anyone has actually started/finished the project please let me know and post some picutres!

HAPPY KNITTING!

Ok so I started the bag...i think i may have found a typo...on row 9&13 it says "K to marker, p2 k9 k2 k to end of row"
I believe it is actually suppose to be K to marker, p2 k9, k2, k to end of row.
If you need to k2 rather than p2 wouldn't it just say k11, and in order for it to be even it should mirror the other p2?  If anyone has the pattern or any input on the issue let me know.  I'm almost possitive i'm right...but just incase.  Also I wanted to be sure to give the heads up to anyone that may be interested in the pattern...or even if you want to just correct your calendar before you forget and decide to make the pattern.
