Is it too early?

See i just moved in with my boyfriend, and after talking about christmas declared that he had no christmas decorations.

I went into shock and severely needed ice cream urgently.

I'm a big christmas person, and although the sun is still shining, i was wandering if people fancied a christmas decoration swap theme, table pieces, tree bits, window hangers, wreathes, anything! It could be a really long drawn out one done between the end of September to say End of November, getting in December ready to put up!

We could each name out favourite christmas icons, penguins and robins, or the nativity, or the victorian style, holly and sleighrides scene, with your favourite christmas colour combos, and a list of what you dont have already, a table centre piece, or that elusive decoration that never reaches the bathroom. Someone should invent a bathroom decoration...

Anyhoodle, any christmas fans fancy it?

WOuld anyone like to do this one sooner rather than later so decorations are all recieved and ready to put up by the beginning of December for decorating the house time? Cheesy

Also, the sooner we do this one, the more we can concentrate on other Christmas swaps and projects.
Would anyone fancy a sign up time of mid september to early october, then craft and send out late november? giving about 5-6 weeks crafting time, and then those who want to do the 12 days of christmas swap and can simply try to double their time on 2 projects or get this one done and sent early to concentrate on the other? [what i'd be doing]

Just throwing ideas around here.

I would say my interest level is at a high 7, depending on the intensity of the size of the crafting - it's never too early for Christmas
