With my spare leftover Lopi, I knit a friend a Jayne hat iPod cozy. Just mini-fied the hat, and elongated it a bit, so that it would hit an iPod. Apparantly, he's already gotten comments. "OMG is that the Jayne hat from Firefly? ON YOUR iPOD?"

The latest Aussie edition of Empire magazine had a Serenity bonus dvd attached. It had The Train Job episode, 2 Serenity trailers, Buffy and Angel trailers, a photo gallery and a little piece on the Starfury Convention (somewhere in the UK, I think, but people from all over attended).

In snippets showing the crowd at the convention, there was someone wearing a knitted Jayne Cobb hat - I don't suppose it was anyone here, was it?

I sent 21 hats to the UK for the Memorabilia convention, so maybe one of those folks went to Starfury as well.  Couldn't really say.
