Jayne Cobb Hat! (with pattern)

You're lucky! I tried to get MY brother to pose with my finished Jayne hat (he's got the Jayne-style goatee, it woulda been shiny!) but he refused!!! 

Are you kidding? I couldn't get him to take it off. He even wears it indoors.

I like Lamb pride, either bulky, or two strands of worsted held together.  The colors aren't perfect, but they got the job done.

I used good ol' Lion Brand Wool-Ease on mine... Chunky for the Pumpkin (orange) and Spice (earflaps), and double-stranded Gold for the other.  Not as vivid brite as a lot of the ones around here, but I like it better.  I used acrylic/wool blend because the guy I was buying it for was bound to throw it in the washer and dryer without knowing wool care tips.

Its Jayne-Cobb chunky, knits fast like a freak and is comfortingly soft, although it looks tough.
It's 30% wool, 30% mohair and 40% acrylic, the best of all worlds.

Ooo...good tip on the Lions brand.  I LOVE brown sheep, but they just raised thier prices to $7 a skein....thought you can get 2 hats out of one skein each of the colors....with lots of red left over

Well I imagine most of us already had the series, but if you meant the movie, my backwards country isn't releasing it for another 2 weeks!!!
