Okay, so here's the deal. I have tons of long sleeved shirts, just plain ones; and I have nooo idea what to do with them. They're in all sorts of colours, black, dark green, a rusty brown, white, yellow.. You guys have any ideas of what I could make out of them?? I haven't been able to find any old posts yet of things people have made out of them, so if you know of old posts, please write them here!!

learn how to stencil and make them interesting
keep at least a few intact to layer with tees
cut a lot of neat teeny slits in a tight one so you can wear a tank top underneath and it'll look cool

that's all I have for now.

thanks Smiley  ill keep that in mind, i just used one today to kind of make a tunic (i think thats what its called) i cut the stretchy part at the end of the sleeves and sewed it back on so its a short sleeve, and its got a hood, and its long. its so cute Smiley i just looked off of one i bought a few months ago and it turned out really good Smiley ill have to post it up on the reconstructed forum.

anyone else have any ideas? i mostly have turtle necks left now!

Retouch the collars, detach and alter the sleeves. Make them 3/4 sleeved/cap sleeves/funky monkey sleeves. Perhaps follow the advice on printing something on them. Bleach them, rip 'em up. Create a baby sling and catapult babies into space?

you can sew 'em into tote-bags, lining them inside with random patterned cloth and stencil the plain side for the outside of the bag, and use the longsleeves for long straps...

I have recently discovered the magic of iron-ons.  Plaid has some iron-ons that are inexpensive and cool.  They're really easy to use--I recently put two birds on a shirt and they came out great.

Ohh, you guys gave me some good ideas Smiley  I have tons of those generic long sleeve shirts that have accumulated over the years that I never wear now.
