We used Adobe Illustrator for our invites. We found a free vector graphic online that we heavily edited to use in our invites. All printed on our home HP Inkjet and cut to our specifications at Kinkos. Our pocketfolders were bought at http://www.cardsandpocketsstore.com and the ivory linen cardstock we got at http://www.paperandmore.com. Ribbon for the outside was bought at Wal-Mart. We assembled them with glue sticks! Smiley

Free fonts are easy to find. Just google "free font" Smiley

I'm only sending out STD's (enter juvenile joke here) because  I've got people coming from the opposite coast.  Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I didn't send out STD's. [is that always funny to everyone else?]
All the people traveling far distances were family, so they knew the date. And all my friends knew the date cause I wouldn't shut up about it [in a good way...  Grin]. I figured we didn't need them.
I always assumed that STD's were necessary for long engagements. That way if you're engaged for like two years and have a date set in the beginning of the engagement, you tell people with an STD. That way they know way in advance and it doesn't act like a pre-invitation.
But that's just me. Roll Eyes

I'm going with pocketfolders because I saw your invites and they were freaking awesome.

I'm thinking of doing simple little pin badge save the dates with our crows and a date.  More as a little memento than anything.
