This is my first post so here goes... I have taught myself to crochet using the Happy Hooker and have made a few things. Haven't seen many Doris Doormats on forums so I thought I would add mine. Might put some more flowers on, have made them detatchable so I can move them around. Didn't put any in the middle cause it's gonna be winter before I know it and they'll get muddy. We are moving out next week and I can't wait to put it in front of my new front door! Grin

Of course tattoos hurt...they're applied with needles, not kitten whiskers and bunny tails.

Thank you very much. I have shown everyone (who said pride was a sin?) and I have already had a request for a not so bright one, so I'm going to use natural coloured twine and I am going to put little white and yellow daisies around the edge. I'll post it when I'm done!

Where did you find the twine & what kind did you use? I have not been able to locate any in Vegas. Not that the local hardware workers were all that helpful...but help. Please! I'd love to start this!!
