So, yeah, I tried my hook at an under bust corset.  I neglected to take my measurements beforehand so it's a little big, but it was a good experiment nonetheless.  Definitely more iterations to come.

Two words: short rows.

Oh and the entire corset is made in panels.  Short rows are used to shape the panels then the entire thing is crocheted together.  I finished it off with my version of i-cord edging.  Ta-da!

I'd love to see this on....I can't wait to see the tunisian version.  I'll bet that will make it more stiff and corsety like.  As usual, wonderful work.

I'm curoius if you plan to line it with plastic canvas or is the yarn you are using stiff enough? On the finished version I mean.

Add some rockin' surface crochet and you really will have a work of art! Even if not it's so cool! Great idea I may have to add something like that to my list of things to do.
