We're having a kids' activity table at our reception for the lil' ones.  I'm making wedding coloring "books" for the kids.  I bought some little fabric bags that will be on the table for them to toss a few of these crayons into when they leave for the night.  Cheap, cute kiddie favors! Smiley

Supplies...
Crayons (Dollar Tree, $1.00)
Heart-shaped foils (Kroger)
Cookie sheet
Oven
Love Grin

Unwrap the crayons, arrange in tins however you like...

Bake at 200 degrees until you reach a consistency you like.

The crayons will seperate as you bake them.  The top portion (that you can see) will look like a mucky mess.  Don't panic!  The portion that you unwrap maintains the colors. Smiley

All cooled, unwrapped & piled up! Smiley

You should layer them and make thick rainbow crayons!

What a fantastic idea!

Want to try coloring with one and show us the results?  I'd love to see how the crayon colors.

Hmm...I don't want to waste/use any. Cheesy  I'll make someone take pix of what the kids color!  It's next weekend, so the wait won't be too long.

Okay, I didn't know if you had made any extra or not.  I'd love to see a picture - it interests me to see if the colors blend as they are used or if they come out as seperate colors (hope that makes sense.)  My sons used to have pencil crayons with multiple colored lead and it was interesting to see what they came out like.
