So, I bought a set of knitting looms recently, and I am having entirely too much fun with them!

Its small child sized (like...a one to two year old could wear it well)

Hi!  Which size did you use for that?  The blue one or the red one?

Very cool! Are those the kids' knitting looms you get in toy stores? I've seen people make boa type scarves with them.

It sounds like fun!

That is too cute!!  I would love to make some of these for my class of 2 year olds!!  Can you give some more info about the loom and where to get it?  Does it come with patterns?

Here is the link to the ones I have:

My only complaint is that the instructions are rather skimpy...but I've heard tell of some websites with patterns.

WOW!  I can't believe they are charging $25 for 4 rings of plastic.  ouch!  Guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Smiley

Thanks so much for the link, though!

The nice thing about Joann.com, though....they often have online coupons for 40% or 50% off a single item!  Smiley

Hi all,

First post ever! Just wanted to add, like midnightsky, that you can get the set for much less than $25. Michaels has them for about that price (but you can't order anything on the web site). Hancock Fabrics also has Lion Brand's Knit-A-Round, with one loom and a pattern book, for $14. The set is available on marymaxim.com for $19.99.

I've been hoping to try these too, but I can't budget for any new tools at the moment...

Hope to see you all around!
