Would anybody be interested in a pincushion box swap? As in, a box whose lid is a pincushion? I can NEVER find a pincushion when I need one, and I always need a place to put little knick knack sewing bits and pieces that build up.  I've seen a lot of people make altoid boxes into pin cushions, and today I bought a container with a pincushion lid at the outdoor sale at the craft store because A) I needed it! and B) It was 75% off. Well maybe switch A and B around in order of priority, that's more my thought process.

Anyhow, it's not that cute, so of course I thought "I could make a better one."  This one is pretty big, maybe 6 inches in diameter and 5 inches high, but of course they wouldn't have to be that big. I was thinking of using those paper mache or cardboard containers you can get to decorate at Joanne's for about $1. They come in all different shapes: stars, hearts, ovals, etc. Or you could make the box/container from scratch or use a tin.
