I am an xray tech by profession, and I spend a lot of time in the operating room. My husband is in anesthesia school so he is in the OR a lot also.. I decided to make us some scrub hats! Here are the womens hats I have made so far. Here are the links.. havent posted enough for pics to show up yet

Those are cute. Great idea... customizing work stuff just makes the workday so much more pleasant. Smiley

cool.  Is it a rule that the mens and womens hats are a different shape or just practical?

More practical really... the guys dont want to wear the bouffant style hats.. and if you have long hair, it all has to be kept in the hat for sterile reasons.. if you are a girl with short hair... you can wear a more guys style hat (but they are called a Pixie style hat then)... silly huh???

Those are so cute!  I saw your men ones too.  My husband is an Oral Surgery Resident, he would love it if I made him some.  Those are way cool!

Could you take a shot of the hat on you?  Preferably the last one, because I love the fabric, but really I want to know what they look like on your head.

They look great!

Do you mind sharing the instructions, or the type of pattern you used?
I'm also a nurse anesthesia student and would like to learn how to make them.

Thanks!
