Thrift stores have really cool sheets. You can use these as fabric to make some pretty cool wrap-around skirts. My sister found some old Star Wars ones, and I'm making a Batman one. I'll post pics once I finish it!!!!

I stole my brother's old batman bedsheets. I made a cute knee-length skirt, and added red tulle to the bottom for a girly touch.

bedsheets are GREAT. good luck!

I've done something similar. Used the pillowcase as my fabric instead of the sheet because I liked the design better (luckily it was just big enough that I could cut the front and back out of it!).

hey - i've also made a star wars sheet skirt, but mine originated from my older brother's empire skirts back sheets.  It looks a lot like the link in the previous post.

How come everyone else has star wars sheets?  I absolutly love star wars in fact my parents would put on the movies so I could fall asleep.  I swear there are no cool sheets in green bay anymore except possibly my ninja turtle sheets which I lost.  Maybe I'll  go look for them. byes
