So this is my first try at dyeing yarn.  I wasn't too sure how it would turn out, because it looked a bit splotchy when it was in a big loop... but once I skeined it, it looks fabulous!

I used koolaid, in strawberry watermelon, orange, and cherry, one packet of each.

Hello ! Your yarn looks gorgeous ! I wish we had a thing like Koolaid here in France (for dyeing purpose I mean... I am not sure I would drink something that is so efficient on dyeing wool ! LOL). Tomorrow, I will go for some food coloring and try it on a leftover skein ! Bye !

Hmm... I'm not sure what I will make with it... it's only one skein of Lambs Pride Bulky.  I'm not a big fan of bulky yarn, but I am thinking of making something felted out of it, maybe a bowl?  Not sure what else I could make.  I don't think I could stand wearing this yarn against my skin.  It was just a test for fun Smiley
