Just not enough hours in the day to do craft

My Doll Artist Guild had an exhibition last weekend  and I had some dolls on exhibit.  We also held a raffle and I made the raffle prizes.
The pattern was designed by doll designer Suzette Rugolo.

Puss in Boots was our raffle prize in 2006 , made by me.

Miss Kitty was the raffle prize this year.  I adapted the pattern slightly to make a female version and made the patterns for some of the female garments that Puss is not wearing

I had some other dolls on exhibit but I haven't taken pics of them yet.

The face is made with a combination of needle sculpting and trapunto.

I have some older dolls on my web site (link in signature block) and I have posted some dolls on craftster

WOW!  Do you just show them, or do you sell any of them?  I'm still amazed by how beautiful they are!

Absolutely stunning on the detail work.
If you were to sell one of your dolls, how much do you think they'd run?

I do sell some of my dolls,  but not that many most people would not part with the amount of money that I ask for them.  Miss Kitty is about $350 (Australian)  but some of my dolls I would not sell for less that $1000.  It all depends on how much work goes into the detail and how many awards I have won with them.  The dolls that I do make to sell are much quicker to make and don't have as much detail in them. The price varies between $20 and $75.

until i read what you wrote. but, if that was one of the prizes at my school, i would soend all my money on that. ( but it is so sad. cause the pta members dont allow us to buy so much.they are such hypocrites because i see them buying hundreds of them for their children.)
