I could have sworn that I had a pattern for one of these things in one of my pattern books. After searching for 30 minutes I can't find it, and am hoping someone can point me to an online pattern or say "oh yes, that is in the book named ______" I am so frustrated by stupid pattern books that don't have a picture index so I can take a quick look and see what is in the darn things!

Anyhow, I don't really know what this is called, (which makes it a smidgen harder to search for) but it is like a stuffie (or a stuffie head) attached to the corner or the middle of a small piece of blanket, maybe just a foot square or so? I was looking for a lamb one, but really any cute baby toy thing would be great.

These links may be helpful too.  They are full-size baby blankets, but you could modify the pattern.

Free pattern for polar bear blanket buddy.

Patterns for a bunch of different animals.  The patterns are .99 each, I think.  These are different because they have paws, as well as heads.

Oops, missed this one, and it's more what you are looking for.
