Historical Figures Swap (Sign ups CLOSED; sendouts 09/25)

As a reminder, with the mailing deadline yesterday and a change-up in organizers:

Midnight no longer has internet access, and so if you have PM'ed her about the swap, and not me, it will not reflect on your mailing/receiving status. Likewise for any previously-made agreements for sending your swap-package late. *I* need to know that you have sent and/or received, even if you have contacted midnight about it already.

I trust that this confusion is what's responsible for my not hearing from approximately half of you on whether you've mailed, even though the deadline passed! It's awfully quiet here, though, mix-ups aside...

If you haven't heard anything from your swap partner for a while and you haven't received, please PM me!  calluna, not midnight! 
I don't know what info you've sent to midnight (unless you've PMed me to let me know), and I don't want to be an ass and accuse anyone of flaking who really hasn't flaked. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything, actually, I just want everyone to send and receive and get at least as much out of the swap as they put into it.
So, please communicate! With me!
And do share your list of historical people on this board; I'm sure I'm not the only one curious.

Mine were:
1) Sacajawea- Native American Princess and Guide to Lewis and Clark - We are related (Great, Great, Great, Great, (maybe another Great in there) Grandma! She helped map out the US all with a baby in tow!
2) Calamity Jane- Strong Woman of the Wild West – She was one of the boys before that was allowed!
3) Ann Bonny/Mary Reed- Famous Female Pirates- Strong as the boys and shrouded in mystery.
4) Annie Oakley- Amazing Shot of the West – A little fireball of a lady who could match guns with the guys
5) Sitting Bull- Native American Chief – Strong and amazing leader.

I made a big list. Explanations not included for the self-explanatory people:
1. Vincent Van Gogh
2. Frida Kahlo
3. Ernesto "Che" Guevara: Fidel Castro's right (or in this case, left!)-hand man in the Cuban Revolution; went on to fight in other revolutionary battles in Latin America once Castro's government was established;  killed by the CIA in Bolivia.
4. Mohandas Gandhi
5. Malcolm X (born Malcolm Little): Major figure in the 1960s Black Power movement and the Nation of Islam; still an icon, decades after his assassination.
6. Helen Keller: In spite of being blind and deaf, learned to communicate and became a social advocate and public speaker. Her teacher, Anne Sullivan, was originally on my list because she rocks too, but I really couldn't imagine what one might craft about her.
7. Amelia Earhart: First female aviator to fly across the Atlantic solo. She disappeared while flying over the South Pacific Ocean and her plane was never found.
8. Joan of Arc
9. John Brown: Radical and fanatically religious U.S. abolitionist who, in public opinion, took it a step too far, and was executed for killing of pro-slavery whites in Kansas (before the Civil War, there was a huge political fight over whether the new state of Kansas would be a slave-state or a free-state, and this was Brown's answer to the issue)

My list, I can remember, because my awesome partner Velour crafted something for each one of them.

1)  Glenn Seaborg  -  chemist, Nobel Prize winner, crush of nerdy girls everywhere.
2)  Cleopatra  -  legendary Pharaoh
3)  Llywelyn Fawr  -  united Wales under one rule
4)  Greta Garbo  -  actress and originator of the oft-misquoted phrase, "I want to be let alone."
5)  Alfred Kinsey  -  entomologist and sexologist
