I love marimekko fabric and products... (URL: http://www.finnstyle.com/blumbag.html) especially their blum bag... but the price was really out of my budget...  Cry

hence I've been wondering in the store for almost 2 weeks, just purely looking at the bag and examine it.. and reading a lot on craftster tutorial (thanks to jordy & melidomi), here's my blum..

I'm still thinking to perfect, simply to improve the strap part, when it's insert to the top, and the shape to be more curvy.

I add interface and felt material at the bottom of the bag to make it look bulky.

Overall look

pls comments  Wink

thank you for looking through~!

thanks for all ur comments Cheesy

oh the construction details is not 100% accurate (I made some changes along the way).  Undecided the final size is correct tho  Smiley

I add in:
1. D-ring belt loop to add the small purse
2. hidden zip area in the strap
3. the back of the bag, I use the tutorial "slit pocket" by silk81
4. two side pocket to cover the big cross I sew (my sewing is messy! Tongue)

I wanna try to sew a hidden zip pocket on the front part of the bag, been think for quite a while but still I can't figure out how

I don't usually like this kind of bag but I really LOVE yours.  All the pockets and especially the zipper pocket on the strap....so handy!!! I carry a healthy back bag because of all the pockets but now I may be able to carry a different style bag sometimes. I love your fabric too!

Thanks for the diagram.  I'll give it a shot.

Can't wait to see your creation~! I'll try to write the steps instruction soon. the top part is kind of difficult for me, my seam is expose in the inner part. so i sew with the outer fabric. ah... I should take the pic while making this bag.
