Okay, I thought I had this little mini done, but the ghosts didnt stand out enough for me.  So, I changed the thread and outlined them in black.  Sorry bout the first pic, it looks like ghosts in headlights.  Not sure what I had the camera set on.

One of my lovely opinionated kids said the black doesn't look right?  I bow to the masters - what do you think?

I love it!  Smiley Smiley Smiley Little seasonal quilts like this make me happy. Smiley Did you freehand the ghosts? And I think the black is perfect.

Thank you all for the positive reinforcement.  Now that I think about it, I could have used white and beige fabric for the ghosts and maybe they wouldnt look like a blobs of white before I used the black thread.   There are 3 bats on it too.  I might outline them in silver or gray thread, they dont show up either, hehe.
Jezebel - Freehand stitching or drawing? My mom had drawn this on a piece of paper, I don't know if she got it from a book. I didn't use the freehand foot for this either which was dumb, it would have been much easier to sew around those little buggars.

Thanks again, I have learned so much from you folks on this website and have seen so many things - my "Things i want to do" list is growing.

Those are perfect!!! I was thinking about trying a witches quilt I saw in a magazine, but maybe I could try ghosts in instead. It's really quite lovely.
