So I bought some vases that I thought might work to stick some candles in; I don't really like a lot of the storebought ones (especially the prices.)
What do you guys think of these?

I figured we could fill them with two to four colors of sand and then stick some candles in. If we go with that idea, the colors we'd definately use is the raspberry and teal, and possibly one of the other pinks and one of the other blues. Opinions needed!

First off, Hello!
Second, there was a post on here I saw where the woman had decoupaged some dishes, it was awesome.
With candles on the inside and images on the outside glowing it would look really pretty, plus I've done projects with sand and it's always messy in the long run.
Just a thought.
oo Decoupage is great on something that doesn't need to be washed all the time.
i.e. candle holders are great for decoupaging.

 Cool

what is the scale of these? also, what do your candles look like? Long and tapered? Shorter and broad?

I don't have a ruler handy, so it's about the length of my hand, and I can wrap my hand only half around it (the big one.) The heart ones are pretty much the same height, and I could probably put my hand completely around it.
I don't have candles yet cuz I wanted to get the holder first, but I figured I'd have long skinny tapered one and then a thicker one for the middle one. I planned on putting some ribbons and our names/date on them, but maybe that would look silly
