it's so cute! i just told my husband i want that fabric for when we go to maine. and he said it looks like a Shaker dress, with lighthouses on it. then i had to ask what the heck he meant...
he means that it looks like an old fashioned dress, and that the few remaining shakers live in maine. if you can decipher it, he was complimenting the dress. men have interesting fashion critiques sometimes, they don't talk about clothes like women do. he may have been reacting to it, but he never mentioned the sash... but he also likes the dress!

ammasmama, thats much more of a commentary than I get from my husband, who has a yay or nay opinion and nothing more.  I believe that working in an almost entirely male atmosphere has taken away his ability to articulate why he likes or dislikes clothing because when he was in high school he (secretly) wanted to be a fashion designer!  (he's the one who taught me to sew)  So, hey, any opinion from the man is good, even if you have to do some internet research to decipher it  Cheesy
