I made one like this before, it was green and stuff. Well, there was alot of extra fabric and my boyfriend called it the maternity tank.. im not pregnant but it was pretty puffy. Then i told him that i made it, and he felt pretty bad. But hey, atleast i reached store quality! Well here is a less puffy and more orange version. comments are appreciated!!

My Boy friend told me that about a dress I had.

I feel your pain.  I got asked by the strange lady at the fabric counter if I was having a baby while wearing a shapeless dress like the one you described.  But that woman is always saying inappropriate things to me...

Your tank looks really cute.  I like the matching buttons.  They give it a little something extra that pulls it all together.

I did on my first thank like this.. thats why my boyfriend called the origonal a maternity tank. I tried to fix it by taking it on on the sides, in the problem area. I guess you could also do darts...?
Im making another one of these soon and ill pay more attention to it and let you know ;]
