I had so much fun designing these!! They are really simple to do and maybe took an hour odd each. I am in the process of writing the pattern up, so I can post on here if anybody is interested. I thought about changing the eyes?

Thanks for all your support with the little bunnies. Here is a quick tutorial. I have added a diagram on my blog here: http://littlegreen.typepad.com/romansock/

******************************
Tutorial

The body of the bunny is worked in one piece in the round (a great big spiral) in single crochet.

Step 1: Start of by crocheting a circle like this: http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa091104.htm But just keep going with round 1 and it will make a spiral. Increase slowly to make the circle bigger. When you have the diameter of the head you want, stop.

Step 2: Now crochet one single crochet into each stitch. So you are no longer increasing. Do this until you have the length of head you want then stop.

Step 3: Now decrease by stitching 3 stitches (one single crochet into one stitch) into the crochet as normal then stitch the next two together. Do this for a complete round. For the next round crochet one single crochet into each stitch.

Step 4: Increase now by stitching into 2 stitches as normal (one single crochet into one stitch) then stitching 2 stitches into the next single stitch for one round.

Step 5: Increase until you have the diameter of body you want.

Step 6: When you have achieved the diameter you want, stitch one single stitch into one stitch until you have achieved the length of body you want.

Step: 7: Decrease slowly to make a rounded bum. Stuff the body when you have a small gap left and then finish off with the stuffing inside

Step 8: Ears: Crochet 2 rectangles about a third of the body long and 4 rows wide.

Step 9: Back Legs: Crochet a circle and continue working in a spiral when you have reached the diameter you want crochet one single crochet into one stitch until you have the length you need. Please a small bit of stuffing in each leg leaving the end off the tube open.

Step 10: Do the same as Step 9 but shorter.

Step 11: Brush everything with a pet ‘slicker brush’ until all parts are nice and fluffy.

Step 12: Sew legs onto the bottom of the body and ears on the top.

Step 13: Sew on nose and eyes. The nose is just two stitches repeated until bold (You will need to trim the hair in a circle where the nose will be. The eyes are two black fimo beads.

Step 14: You will now have a very fluffy bunny, trim hair to give character.

Oh my goodness, I'm in love! They're so cute it hurts! I think I'll make some of these after you get the pattern up to make my fuzzy bunnies jealous. Wink

Don't change a thing!! They are the cutest things I ever saw!!!!
If I had a wist I would wist them!
And I can't believe they are crochet!!!! Yay!!! Maybe I could make one??  It's only been 15 years since I crocheted... but I used to be quite good. Tell me it's as easy to pick up again as falling off a bicycle!!
