I just finished my first hat. I did not use a pattern wich I now know was a mistake but I like to think I am just one of those people who work by trial and error. Its too big but I am going to fix it and then where it everywhere. I am also going to make a scarf to match. I hope you like.

This is my friends dog Dessy in my hat.

Aw, it's cute. What kind of yarn did you use?

Congrats on your first hat!  It looks really cute, even if it's a little big.  I'm sure it'll be totally warm this winter!

As a side question--where'd you get that glass head?  It seems like a lot of people have them and I think they'd be perfect for blocking hats.

Yay there's the hat, and my Dess. It looks real good on the plastic head. I was thinking we could line it to make it fit a bit better and then it won't blow off your head.
