I made a long lined zippered pouch! Check it out!




It has my initials embroidered on the outside. I think the inside is a little too bright because people keep asking me why I picked such a bright lining material.  Tongue

When I make things for myself, I always put my fav. fabrics in as the lining.  These are usually my bright, fun fabrics.  It makes me happy to open up my (whatever) and see a fun fabric there.  It's kind of like a secret surprise.  In other words, I don't think your lining it too bright.  I think its happy!

i agree...i think you should use whatever you want for the lining.  the first thing that came to mind when i saw the picture was how bright and fun it was.   Wink

I used the lined Zippered pouch tutorial for my pouch. It is a great tutorial! Very easy to follow.

hmm... I must of messed up.... Well, If you go to the ultimate purses bags and wallets tutorial list the lined zippered pouch tutorial is under non-purses. Sorry the link doesn't work. I'll try to fix it.
