So, I made this hat for my friend's birthday and loved it so much that I had to make one for myself. The pattern is "Mary Jane's Pithy Hat" by Little Turtle Knits. http://www.littleturtleknits.com/pithyhat.htm
Thanks and props to Quad Mom for inspiring me with your hat in Mustard!

Side view. I used Ty-Dy by Knit One, Crochet Two. 'Tis 100% cotton and very nice to work with. I used most of a 197 yard skein.

Front view. I'm making a weird face, but you get to see the shirt I sewed as well.

Here's a back view of my hat. The shape is pretty much the same as the other. This version is in Lily by Noro, which is 70% cotton, 30% silk. I used about 1.5 skeins at 118 yards a skein.

Woo and yay! This is my first FO post on the knitting side!

Very cute!  Not a mustard yellow fan, but the colors on the first one are cute.

Thanks! The yellow colour is quite bright and nice in real life, and I don't usually care for yellow. I think I do prefer the colours of the other hat, pity I had to give it away!
