This is for some friends whose baby won't co-operate with the ultrasound tech. Alas a non gender specific quilt had to be created. They have decided to decorate in a cowboy/cowgirl western theme. Wow that is hard to find in "babyish fabric". So the Vintage/Retro/ Repro Primary quilt was born.

How fun! It could definitely be used for a boy or a girl. Nice job.

I love it! Fab colours and great mix of patterns. Did you machine quilt that yourself? I'm impressed!

So cute! I like the boarder fabric. It's a great neutral.

I live the prints and the random-ish pattern and piecing.  Great job, I'm sure the little cowpoke will love it.  Smiley

Thanks to your friends' eschewing ultrasound, you have created a really cool and unique quilt that bucks gender and baby stereotypes (if you'll pardon my pun). that's really awesome.

What is it with dogs? You can look like you and sound like you and smell like you, but a pair of funky gloves will make them decide it isn't you. I've heard a lot of dogs hate halloween costumes.

I love your fabrics - so much richer and more interesting than pastel.  Yummy. Grin
